Cloth Filter

Little Red Hario Drippy-Thing
I’m really enjoying brewing with these new toys.
Sidamo Dale … Kenya French Mission … SO HOT right now.
Hazel concocted a French Mish/Gethumbwini/Sidamo Dale/Washed Sidamo blend, which I am just itching to get into!
Nice! I’m loving the cloth sock at the moment, though the cleaning required is a little tedious. It’s for that reason that I now own a second cloth hario syphon filter. Cloth is probably my favourite filter at the moment.
The drip kettle thing looks a lot like an olive oil thingamo that I have seen … should be great. I think that I’ll get the hario kettle; they’re AWESOME for cupping because they hold enough to do five or so cups and you can use the spout to saturate all of the grinds evenly really easily, plus if you transfer boiling water from the kettle into the hario kettle it seems to end up at a tasty temperature … guess I should check that one, though.
Hario make a cloth filter to fit their drip cone. The awesomeness is just a little too mindboggling! ;P
Cheers, and happy birthday!
Luca
Hey Luca - yeah that is an olive oil jug
Hazel mentioned in passing that they work, and seeing as I have two I’ve never put oil in - they’re now drip kettles. That one holds about 200ml so is perfect for the one-cup filter jobs.
