Think the caffeine is finally wearing off. The drive home was very jittery what with the excessive caffeine in my bloodstream and the ridiculous amount of rain pouring on the F3.
Highlights for me were the SQM Kenyan Muchoki Peaberry, and the Rwandan that came courtesy of The Source at Mosman.
Plus, it’s always good fun hanging out with others with the same obsession. 
Th come-down from all that coffee was huge - I crashed out on the couch when it wore off haha. Awesome little excursion though huh? Those two coffees also my highlight for the morning. Think I’m gonna head over to Source again soon and check out their new setup.
Yeah, it was great fun. I got home and Drew and the kids were asleep so I buzzed around for a bit until they woke up. Went to bed early, woke up in the middle of the night feeling awful - it appears I’ve managed to get myself a dose of the flu. Feeling like rubbish.
So how long before you could face another espresso shot? I haven’t had any coffee since …

Yeah I had to goto Di Barts and pick up a friends grinder. I managed to say no to coffee for a while, then while I was testing the new Giotto I couldn’t help myself. I’m just a sucker for punishment haha. Today I had friends over so I busted out the syphon on that Gethumbwini 3 weeks PR still carrying through that grapefruit! Particularly on first sip then faded real quick, still had a great aroma though.
Then I was on supper again for church and had to test a few shots tonight. I’m done now haha - famous last words…
